GAAS 2014 Hotel Registration Deadline Extended

The hotel registration deadline for the 2014 Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Ill. has been extended until Friday, April 25. GAAS 2014, “Connected,” will take place on Tuesday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 21.

GAAS organizers are also warning attendees about potential fraud associated with the event. “It has come to our attention that an unauthorized company, representing itself as being part of GAAS, has contacted some of our attendees to offer them hotel reservations,” said GAAS chairman, Denny Welvaert. “If you receive a call like this, it is a scam and you should hang up on the caller. Reservations should only be made via our online hotel reservation link or by calling the hotel directly and referencing the ‘Global Symposium.’”

Each year the net proceeds of GAAS are invested in the organization’s scholarship fund to help students start their automotive aftermarket career.
