Automechanika Canada signs agreement with Ontario Tire Dealers Association

Automechanika Canada announced that the Ontario Tire Dealers Association (OTDA) will co-locate its trade show and conference program with this year's Automechanika Canada event.

Automechanika Canada announced that the Ontario Tire Dealers Association (OTDA) will co-locate its trade show and conference program with this year’s Automechanika Canada event.

In addition to bringing in more than 50 companies to support its trade show in an exclusive OTDA pavilion, the association has also committed to providing conference speakers and marketing assistance. OTDA is a leading industry association committed to the growth and prosperity of the tire and wheel industry.

Business Information Group and Messe Frankfurt, Inc. have already positioned Automechanika Canada as the leading business platform in Canada covering all elements of the automotive aftermarket.

“The strength of the internationally renowned Automechanika Brand coupled with the industry knowledge and business contacts of Business Information Group has already provided Automechanika Canada with an exciting beginning,” stated David Audrain, president of Messe Frankfurt. “The addition of this new partnership with OTDA simply adds to our formula for success.”

OTDA will bring further growth and success to the trade show through its 7,500-square-foot pavilion and conference program. Through these combined efforts and resources, the new partnership will benefit suppliers, tire dealers, and the entire aftermarket industry.

The Ontario Tire Dealers Association is a key player in the tire and wheel industry with over 750 members and an average yearly growth of 15 per cent. Running its own trade show and conference for more than 50 years, OTDA is also well versed in the trade show and event planning business.

Bob Bignell, director of OTDA says he is “thrilled with the new partnership that gives both sides an opportunity to access larger markets.” OTDA will be able to maintain its identity within Automechanika Canada while offering suppliers and tire dealers a universal platform for networking, business, and education with the trade attendees of Automechanika Canada.

The OTDA tire and wheel pavilion will provide Automechanika Canada with a broader presentation for the industry. Featured products in the pavilion will include tires, wheels, wheel accessories, innovative rims, hoists, lifts, equipment and fittings, compressors, air tools, parts, and more.
