Auto-Camping appoints new VP of operations

Auto Camping has appointed Callum McLean as its new vice president of operations.

A seasoned operations executive with experience at Loeb/Provigo and Canadian Tire Corporation, Callum has joined the Toronto-based European import parts specialist. He’ll focus on the company’s head office and distribution centre operations.

Prior to his 16 years in the corporate world, Callum was self-employed. The company says this gives him a good understanding of the unique challenges of a privately-owned company. “With his experience, Callum will strengthen the senior management team and spearhead the advancement of Auto-Camping’s European parts and lubricants business,” a company release states.

Since 1960, Auto-Camping is an independently owned and operated Canadian company that distributes automotive original equipment and quality replacement parts and lubricants for European vehicles from 17 locations across Canada. Auto-Camping imports from original equipment manufacturers and ISO approved companies and makes deliveries to auto service facilities multiple times daily.
