The Automotive Service Association (ASA) will hold its annual business meeting March 6 at The Sheraton Overland Park in Overland Park, Kan. This year’s meeting will coincide with the Vision Expo, an annual education and trade show event hosted by ASA’s affiliated association, ASA-Midwest.

The business meeting agenda will include an open meeting of the ASA board of directors, and ASA’s 2014 board will be announced. Dan Risley, ASA executive director, will conduct a swearing-in ceremony for the new board members who officially begin their terms at the close of the meeting.

“ASA and its board of directors are strongly committed to supporting our affiliated associations. Moving our annual meeting to coincide with ASA-Midwest’s Vision Expo exemplifies our strong desire to work together,” said Risley. “The Vision program has quickly become a ‘can’t miss’ event and we are excited to be a part of it.”

The Vision expo will be held March 6-9 in Overland Park, Kansas. The four day convention for auto service professionals will include 16 management courses and 58 technical training courses. Antendees can also see the latest tools and equipment in the conference’s 60,000 sq. foot exhibit hall.

The ASA board meeting will be held Thursday from 1-5 p.m., preceding the Vision Expo Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8. The official registration form for the March 6 meeting will be available soon on the ASA website – www.ASAshop.org. There will be no registration fee to attend the meeting. Housing and transportation arrangements will be the responsibility of each attendee.
