Three ARA members have been nominated to run for chair of the Automotive Retailers Association (ARA) in British Columbia, a position that was previously filled by Ed Hendricks for two terms.
The three ARA members that have been nominated to run in Hendricks’ place are Scott Waddle, owner of Precision Auto Service in Langley, Ronald Tremblay, owner of The Garage in Vancouver, and Wade Bartok of Elite Autobody in North Vancouver.
Waddle and Tremblay’s shops are members of ARA’s mechanical division, and Bartok is a member of ARA’s collision division.
The association will elect the new chairman during its annual general meeting at the Westin Resort & Spa in Whistler, B.C on Saturday, September 17. Each nominee will have the chance provide a brief presentation, and following the presentations, voting will be conducted by secret ballot.
Al Cameron, the owner of Bluenose Motor Co. in Parksville, B.C. will also take on the position of secretary/ treasurer for the ARA.
