The AIA Central Ontario Division Golf Tournament on June 18 was sold-out with 144 golfers. The tournament raised over $6,800 for Marion Roberts and other scholarships, as well as special projects.
“It was great to see some new faces at the tournament,” says Central Ontario Division Chair Keith Gordon. “There were lots of familiar faces too, but it is great for me to see that we are attracting some new blood to the Association. I was also very pleased to see a number of jobbers in attendance — some of the jobbers made it a networking event by inviting their automotive service provider customers to the gold tournament.”
“I would also like to thank a number of supplier companies, especially Dayco Mark IV and Federal Mogul, who have faithfully supported the Golf Tournament over the years and showed fantastic participation at this year’s event.”
“Many thanks to the Golf Tournament organizers, Harvey Presement, Larry Raymond, and Sandy Ross for all of their hard work in ensuring the success of the tournament. The real winners are the young people who will benefit from the scholarship.”
