A concept vehicle revealing the styling direction of the next-generation Honda Accord Coupe will make its debut at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit on Tuesday, January 10.  The 2013 Honda Accord Coupe Concept will make its Canadian debut at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto on February 16.

The new, ninth-generation 2013 Honda Accord is scheduled to go on sale across Canada and the U.S. in the fall of 2012. The Accord Coupe Concept vehicle will be introduced at a press conference at the North American International Auto Show, which will also be broadcast live via webcast on http://hondanews.com/live/2012naias.

A leader in performance, safety, efficiency and value since the introduction of the first-generation model in 1976, the Accord remains a pillar in the Honda model lineup. Demonstrating its enduring and iconic reputation, the 2012 Accord was recently named to Car and Driver’s ’10Best’ list for a record 26th time, and J.D. Power and Associates’ 2011 Initial Quality Study (IQS) named the Accord as having the highest initial quality in its segment.

The introduction of the ninth-generation Accord will mark 30 years of North American auto production.  Accord was the first vehicle ever built by Honda in Canada when production began in 1986 at the Honda of Canada Mfg. assembly plant in Alliston, Ontario.
