Canadian Aftermarket Association…

Canadian Aftermarket Association Appoints New PR Manager

The Automotive Industries Association of Canada has appointed Katherine Power as manager, Public Relations.
Power joins the association after successfully managing her own PR/Communications consulting firm, MAD apples, for the past 5 years where she focussed her business interests primarily on the not-for-profit/association sector in Ottawa.
She has worked in the private sector, the federal government, and the not-for-profit environment. Prior to launching MAD apples, Power planned and implemented all communications for Stentor’s International division.
Power has won numerous Awards of Excellence in Marketing from the International Association of Business Communicators. Her extensive communications experience includes: developing company communications strategies, media relations, sponsorships and special events, sales promotions and product launches, corporate communications, advertising and brand development.
In addition to her activities in public relations, she will be the AIA staff liaison for the Suppliers Council and the Retailers Council.
Katherine is replacing Denise Faguy who is leaving AIA to work with her entrepreneur husband and spend more time with her family.
The Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA) is the voice and resource for the automotive aftermarket industry in Canada. AIA’s mandate is to promote, educate and represent members in all areas that impact the growth and prosperity of the industry.
