ATK Vege Acquires Orient Engines

ATK Vege, the largest private label engine remanufacturer in North America, announced the acquisition of the assets of Orient Engine, Inc. Located in Kentucky, Orient Engine is a remanufacturer of import engines, specializing in Japanese brands.
“ATK Vege continues to add capability, expertise and broad product offerings for the automotive aftermarket,” said Peter Butterfield, CEO and President of ATK Vege.
“The acquisition of Orient Engine, Inc. was complementary to our historic strength within the import engine segment. This helps achieve our number one goal of providing our customers with the highest quality products, the best warranty and highest customer service the industry has to offer,” he added.
Butterfield also added that he was particularly excited that Roger Deckard, CEO of Orient Engine, has rejoined the ATK Vege team and will play a key role in the overall management of ATK Vege in the future.
ATK North America and Vege de Mexico, recently renamed ATK Vege, maintains a 75 year history in the remanufacturing industry.
