AAPEXedu To Spotlight Telematics And The Connected Car

 

The 2015 AAPEXedu will take a close up look at the emerging role of telematics as a revenue generator for independent auto repair shops, the challenges the aftermarket faces with “direct to vehicle owner” OE communications, and many additional issues related to autonomous vehicles and connected cars. All AAPEXedu sessions are free and begin on Monday, Nov. 2, the day before the official start of AAPEX, and run throughout the event.

Tuesday, Nov. 3

“Telematics Support for Independent Shops,” 11 a.m. – Noon

“21st Century Vehicles – Keeping Drivers Safe and Connected             While Respecting the Environment,” 11 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 4

“Telematics and the Independent Vehicle Service Industry,” 9              a.m. – 10 a.m.

“Connected Vehicles: The Future of Transportation,” 11 a.m. –              Noon

“New Safety Technology: Does It Work?” 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

 

Thursday, Nov. 5

“Connected Vehicles – Have You Lost Connection with           Infotainment?”

11 a.m. – Noon.
