Walkathon fundraiser scheduled for cancer support group

The Hope & Cope Walkathon organized by Dorval, Sources, and St-Henri Auto Parts is scheduled for Sept. 8 at St. Maxime Park in Laval, Que.

Hope & Cope helps people cope with cancer with guidance from professional staff, cancer-experienced volunteers that provide psycho social support and practical resources that help patients regain a sense of control and well-being, reduced isolation and restore hope.

The 7 km walk will begin at 9:00 a.m.
