Mazda Canada reports August sales results

Mazda Canada Inc. reported sales of 7,592 vehicles in August 2026. The month included record August results for the CX‑30 and CX‑70, continued double‑digit growth for the all‑new CX‑5 and sustained year‑to‑date gains for the CX‑90. Through the first eight months of 2026, Mazda Canada has sold 49,694 vehicles.

The CX‑5 remained Mazda Canada’s best‑selling model with 3,150 units sold, up 15.3 per cent year‑over‑year and 11.3 per cent year‑to‑date. The CX‑30 set a new August record with 1,647 units sold, increasing 2.3 per cent year‑over‑year. The CX‑70 also posted its strongest August on record, rising 3.0 per cent year‑over‑year. The CX‑90 recorded year‑to‑date growth of 11.6 per cent, with 6,339 units sold through August.

Mazda says SUVs accounted for more than 80 per cent of August sales volume, led by the CX‑5, CX‑30, CX‑70 and CX‑90. Earlier this summer, the company highlighted its Unlimited Mileage Warranty and findings from a CAA‑Québec analysis on warranty benefits for Canadians who drive higher‑than‑average distances.
