Exploring leadership in the latest issues of CARS

We’re focusing on the women of the aftermarket in this issue of CARS. We hear from young women leaders to discuss the state of the aftermarket today, how it’s changed and where they would like to see things go.

From mentoring, finding their seat at the table and the opportunities available, here’s how they view the industry today.

We explore a major issue for many Ontario tire dealers: Tires are piling up on their property and nowhere to dispose of them. The Ontario Tire Dealers Association raises the alarm about the issue and how they’re working to try to ease the burden.

Have you ever had an idea for a tool that would make working in the shop easier? Owner Mark Tirbany has and then tried to bring his idea to market. But it hasn’t been the smoothest path. He shares his journey and what advice he’d give you.

And we have expert insight from Zakari Krieger on how the current state of affairs at home and globally are impacting the aftermarket and what you need to do to navigate.

How do we grow green technicians into gold-star employees? Erin Vaughan had a couple of eureka-type moments while working with staff in her shop to draw in young or “green” staff and help grow them into top performers.

And don’t forget to check out our Letters, News, By the Numbers and Bruce Eccles’ humour column for even more in this packed issue.
