Mayle has introduced a new air suspension product group that gives shops access to OE-compliant components for the first time. The lineup includes air suspension struts, air springs and level control sensors, filling a long-standing gap in the aftermarket.
Until now, repair facilities working on premium vehicles often had to choose between expensive OEM parts or lower-cost alternatives that lacked active damping compatibility or reliable system tightness. The new offerings from Meyle enable value-based repairs.
Mayle is providing coverage for key applications in Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover and additional premium brands. The company plans ongoing expansion of the portfolio to meet growing market needs.
“With the new product group, we’re responding to rising demand in the aftermarket,” said Sönke Schwenck, head of cooling, filter and damping at Meyle. “Vehicles are on the road for longer and longer. With increasing vehicle age and more miles on the clock, the likelihood of faults increases, and so the demand for spare parts for air suspensions increases too.”
