Canamotive Celebrates 25 Years

Canamotive Remanufacturing, Woodbridge, Ont., celebrated its 25th anniversary in February.

With virtually the entire staff on hand, company founder Paul Meleca paid tribute to the employees and family who have contributed to the longevity and success of the company.

“We are here to honour you guys and to say thanks for being good employees and making Canamotive what it is today,” said Meleca at the gathering.

In addition to a champagne celebration for all staff, special honours were in store for long-service employees who were presented with fine engraved wristwatches for their 20 years with the company.

Canamotive has grown from a 2,000- square-foot facility in 1984 to its current 36,000 square feet and supplies brake calipers, water pumps, and power steering pumps.
