Siemens VDO Automotive has appointed Sean Stanic as vice-president, sales and marketing for its Service & Special Solutions group. The announcement was made by Wolfgang Winzer, vice-president and general manager of Siemens VDO Automotive Corporation Service & Special Solutions, NAFTA. Stanic is responsible for the overall management of the Sales, Marketing, Engineering Services, and Tech Support departments for the Service & Special Solutions group, based in Allentown, Pa. All sales managers, department heads, and personnel will now report to Stanic.

Ron Searcy, vice-president and general manager for American Remanufactured Inc. (ARI), has announced that Sam Ornelas has joined the company as the new director of warehouse management effective Dec. 1. Ornelas was formerly the warehouse manager for Brake Parts Inc., McHenry, Ill. His previous experience at BPI in managing over 56,000 SKUs in a multi-million dollar inventory will be key to improving ARI’s service and profitability.
