APC Automotive announced that is has acquired the entire Durafit brand and will move it under its AP Emissions Technologies division.
Durafit is brand of an OEM replacement diesel particulate filters and diesel oxidation catalysts.
The acquisition includes not just the brand, but also the manufacturing assets, distribution assets and customer and supplier contracts.
“DuraFit brings a solid brand and developed product line to our AP Emissions business and fits our position as a vertically integrated category leader,” said Hugh Charvat, CEO of APC Automotive Technologies, in a statement.
The deal will move AP Emissions Technology to focus more on the commercial vehicle aftermarket, the company said.
