Gabriel app checks vehicle suspension

Gabriel Ride Control has introduced a new app to check vehicle suspension. The Suspension Test works on Android and iOS and users can check a vehicle’s suspension from a smartphone.

After downloading the app, users enter their vehicle information – make, model and style – and then add information about estimated shock/strut mileage and an identifying name for the vehicle.

Then, users pick which of the vehicles four corners they want to test. The app provides instructions on how to conduct the test by placing the phone over the selected corner and bouncing the area once. Testing begins by pressing a butter and results are provided right away — information and scores for performance and mileage. Users can then check other corners.

After testing is done, users can find out what parts they need, and can share results through email.
