CRC Industries, Inc. (CRC) has acquired ChemFree Corporation, a subsidiary of Intelligent System Corporation.
The sale was finalized on March 31, 2015 and was facilitated by Marx Group Advisors (MGA).
Combining the ChemFree product line and CRC’s broad specialty chemical platform will create superior performance and enhanced environmental responsibility, as well as new product growth opportunities.
ChemFree manufactures the SmartWasher Bio Remediating Parts Washing System, providing an alternative method for cleaning vehicle and maintenance parts without harming humans or the environment. The SmartWasher system consists of the SmartWasher parts washer, OzzyJuice Degreasing Solutions and OzzyMats which are microbe impregnated filters.
The ChemFree Smartwasher product line is distributed in more than 40 countries and marketed under multiple patents. The SmartWasher system eliminates or dramatically reduces waste streams, as well as the expense of hazardous waste removal and associated liabilities.
The ChemFree manufacturing, sales, customer service, distribution and administration offices will remain headquartered in Norcross, Ga.
