Transport Canada Issues AIA Renewed…

Transport Canada Issues AIA Renewed TDG Certificate

Members of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada are advised that Tranportation of Dangerous Goods Equvalency  Certificate #6690 (Ren. 4)  expired on May 31st 2013 and has been replaced.

The AIA advises members that  Transport Canada has issued the association an Equivalency Certificate #6690 (Ren. 6) that replaces the former rendition of the certificate, effective immediately.

The new rendition of the certificate, which nullifies and supersedes the previous certificate, may not yet be posted on the Transport Canada website, but has been posted on AIA’s website at www.aiacanada.com.

The AIA advises members that  the terms and conditions in the certificate must be adhered to at all time to maintain the validity of the certificate. Non-compliance with any of the terms and conditions invalidates the certificate as per the Transportation of Dangerous Good Act.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jason Kerr. For specific inquiries about Equivalency Certificate #6690 (Ren. 6), please contact Transport Canada.
