CarProof Vehicle History Reports launches mobile app for dealers

CarProof Vehicle History Reports, Canada’s most trusted vehicle history report provider, is proud to announce the launch of its free app for iPhone and new mobile device-friendly report format.

The “CarProof Mobile – Dealer” app is the perfect tool for car dealers who need fast, reliable access to CarProof’s comprehensive vehicle history reports on-the-go. Available for download from the iTunes App Store, the app features a VIN barcode scanner, simple report sharing, mobile report archives, and convenient access to live customer support.

The app also takes advantage of a new streamlined report format, tailored specifically for reading on mobile devices. Dealers using the iPhone app can easily send a link through email or text message to any computer or mobile device, which can also take advantage of the mobile-friendly format.

“We are always looking for ways to make it easier for dealers to access the critical data that our reports provide, whether they are in the office, out in the lot, or anywhere,” explains Chris Afonso, Vice President Dealer Sales. “This app is the first step in our commitment to full mobile support for our dealers.”

The “CarProof Mobile – Dealer” app is currently available in both English and French for iPhones running iOS 5.0 and later, and versions for Blackberry and Android devices are currently in development.

Dealers can download the app to their iPhones directly through the iTunes App Store, or by logging in at www.carproof.com and following the links on screen. Dealers who order a CarProof report through the app before December 31, 2012 will also receive a free CarProof t-shirt.
