Gates Launches ABDS Display

Gates Canada announced the availability of the company’s  Accessory Belt Drive System (ABDS) display.

Constructed of the same high impact resin plastic as their timing belt display, this new display features many of the components found on a typical ABDS system:

• Crank pulley

• Alternator decoupler pulley

• Idler pulley

• Water pump

• Power steering pulley

• Automatic belt tensioner

It is a must have for professional technicians and service writers to educate consumers on belt and tensioner replacement. The visual explanation showcasing the important role the consumer’s automatic belt tensioner has in partnership with their serpentine belt is preventative maintenance at its best!
