Parts Jobs to Increase Ten Fold in India

A report from an economic watchdog in New Delhi India has announced that it expects jobs in its domestic auto-parts sector to vault to 2.55 million by 2015.
The report calls on the Indian government to begin preparing for the boom now, by establishing training programs, to ensure that demand does not outrun the skilled labour required.
Increased efficiency and automation advancements have meant a stable employment level in the local industry, but the report sites increasing incremental investment and greenfield projects as being the primary driving forces behind the potential growth.
The report was recently submitted to the Indian Ministry of Heavy Industry.
