Mister Transmission International purchased by Responsive Brands Inc.

Mister Transmission, Canada’s largest chain of transmission and driveline repair shops, has officially been sold to Responsive Brands Inc.
“It was a difficult decision for the Brillinger family to divest their interests in the Mister Transmission business. However, we all agreed that it was the right thing and we are ecstatic that we have chosen the absolute best partner for us,” said Randy Moore, president and CEO of Mister Transmission. “Responsive and the existing Mister Transmission team are equally committed to increasing our value to the franchisees, growing same store sales and growing our franchisee base.”
Mister Transmission launched in 1963 and now has over 60 locations in Canada. Original founder and chairman, Bruce Brillinger passed away on January 5, 2010.
