Federal-Mogul Motorparts appoints Philip Halberg as senior vice president

Federal-Mogul Motorparts has appointed Philip Halberg to the newly created position of senior vice president, commercial strategy, North America.

Halberg will report to CEO Dan Ninivaggi and lead a cross-functional team consisting of product management, sales, marketing and customer service, to develop and implement North American commercial strategy. This team will work, together with the company’s training and category insights groups, to develop regionally-focused strategies that maximize local market connectivity and deliver on key corporate initiatives.

“Combining Phil’s significant leadership and expertise in the automotive aftermarket with a cross-functional approach will allow us to most effectively leverage our recent strategic investments in regional full product line distribution centers, improved IT infrastructure, ‘Tech First’ initiatives, brand development and product innovation,” said Ninivaggi. “We are positioning our field team to maximize effectiveness across the various channels of distribution, while improving customer satisfaction and driving growth for our channel partners.”

Halberg joined Federal-Mogul in 2011 as director – business development, North America, and was promoted in 2014 to vice president, strategic accounts, North America. Halberg received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Houghton College in Houghton, New York, and a master’s degree in business administration from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
