Joyce Vonada joins American Tire Distributors as head of technology

American Tire Distributors Inc. has hired Joyce Vonada as the company’s new chief information officer. Ms. Vonada will report directly to ATD CEO Stuart Schuette.
“Joyce is a seasoned IT professional with the right combination of experience and leadership to drive our digital program to better engage our customers and stakeholders,” said Mr. Schuette. “Through her guidance, we can leverage new technologies to support our transformational change and deliver a better customer and employee experience.”
Ms. Vonada brings a breadth of IT retail experience to this leadership role at ATD. After starting her career as a consultant, she held senior management roles with AutoNation and also served as senior vice president of information technology and business solutions at Lowe’s.
Most recently, Ms. Vonada served as CIO for Eden’s Corp. based in Columbia, South Carolina. Ms. Vonada is a graduate of the University of Miami.
