Valvoline opened the doors to its new world headquarters in Lexington, Ky. recently. The $35 million, 162,400-square-foot building was dedicated by company chief executive officer Sam Mitchell in front of many of the 650 Valvoline employees.
He called the new headquarters “an amazing building that reflects our brand and our collaborative, innovative culture. But perhaps more important, it reflects our ongoing commitment to Kentucky and the communities we serve. We’re proud to call Lexington home.”
The company has called the second-largest city in Kentucky for more than 30 years
Mitchell was joined Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin, U.S. Rep. Andy Barr, Lexington Mayor Jim Gray and Commerce Lexington board chair Carla Blanton.
