The Stan Kingshott West Coast Classic will be back this summer.
One of the highly regarded charity golf tournaments in the automotive aftermarket, the day of golf, networking and giving back will take place on Monday, August 11 at the Vancouver Golf Club in Coquitlam, B.C.
Organized by Lordco Auto Parts and Carpak Distributors, the tournament honours the legacy of Stan Kingshott, founder of both the event and Carpak Distributing Corp. His commitment to philanthropy remains central to the tournament’s mission, which raises tens of thousands of dollars annually for Canadian charities.
Last year’s beneficiaries included JDRF Vancouver, the Alzheimer Society of B.C., High Fives for Kids Foundation, the B.C. Lung Association, Autism B.C., the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of B.C., the Ed Coates Memorial Foundation and Family Services of Greater Vancouver.
“Each year, this tournament brings together leaders and supporters from the automotive aftermarket community to raise funds for worthy causes,” said Brian Kingshott, President of CARPAK Distributors and son of Stan Kingshott. “It’s a day of golf that gives back in a big way, and we look forward to it every year.”
The event draws in participants from across North America, who will enjoy 18 holes of golf, along with on-course food stations and a celebratory awards dinner.
“This tournament means a great deal to our company, the automotive industry, and everyone who knew Stan,” said Ian Coates, vice president of sales at Lordco Auto Parts. “Everyone who attends and sponsors the event gives generously to support charities providing much-needed services.”
