Ricky Wang has joined Brake Parts Inc. as sales vice president and general manager, China.
Ricky Wang has joined Brake Parts Inc. (BPI) as sales vice president and general manager, China.
“We are pleased to have Ricky on board as our new sales vice president and general manager of BPI China,” said David Overbeeke, president and CEO of Brake Parts Inc. “With over 19 years of experience in the automotive industry, Ricky brings a rich background in industrial sales, marketing and general management to his new position where he will be responsible for expanding our business in the Asia Pacific region.”
Most recently, Wang served as the vice president and general manager of East Lake New Energy Automobile Corporation in China where he was responsible for its specialty vehicle business. Prior to that, he held several key roles with multinational automotive companies, including director of aftermarket and trailer for ArvinMeritor, China and director of sales and marketing for Goodyear Engineered Products, Asia Pacific. Wang also previously served as the international sales and marketing manager for Sensus Precision Die Casting Inc. in Russellville, Ky.
Wang holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from University of Science & Technology Beijing.
