PlastiKote says its newly reformulated Trunk Paint Base Coat and Trunk Paint Top Coat help make the trunk of any vehicle look like new.

Katie Whiting, product manager, aerosols for Valspar, says it provides great protection and a professional semi-gloss finish.

“Used in combination with each other, PlastiKote’s reformulated trunk base and top coat paints will help give your trunk a brand new look and feel,” she said. “Our trunk paints are easy to apply and are offered in a variety of the major OEM colors.”

It is available in gray-white (500), black-grey (501), dark green aqua (502) and gray-black-white (503).

Although it is not water resistant on its own, it will become water resistant as well as provide a great semi-gloss finish when PlastiKote’s Trunk Paint Top Coat (505) is applied after the base coat has dried. This clear, protective paint provides a durable, moisture resistant sealant over your base coat color.
