Federated Auto Parts, with locations in Canada and throughout the United States, will carry VDO REDI-Sensor Multi-Application TPMS Sensors.

Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket, maker of VDO brand TPMS replacement parts, has been selected by Federated Auto Parts as a new distributor. The company’s line of TPMS sensors will be offered as part of the Federated Co-Man program, distributed out of the Federated Co-Man Warehouse in Staunton, VA. The Federated Co-Man program was founded in 1999, and is jointly owned by Federated members.

The announcement was made by David Mestdagh, director, North American aftermarket operations for Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket. He noted that VDO REDI-Sensor’s innovative design and multi-application capability offers a unique opportunity for Federated members to provide a game-changing advancement in TPMS service to professional service technicians.

Larry Pavey, president of the Co-Man business unit for Federated, added, “Continental is an acknowledged leader in TPMS technology and ideal partner for us. Its breakthrough VDO REDI-Sensor fits right in with our reputation for supplying top-quality, name brand parts.”

VDO REDI-Sensor Multi-Application TPMS Sensors are compatible with all major TPMS scan tools and require no sensor programming, added training or new tool investments. Shops that have the tools and know-how to service OEM TPMS sensors are ready for REDI-Sensor! VDO REDI-Sensor TPMS sensors come pre-programmed and are designed to follow the standard OEM vehicle relearn procedures.
