Tenneco expands lineup of Walker CalCat converters

Tenneco has continued to expand its lineup of Walker CalCat California Air Resources Board (CARB) compliant replacement catalytic converters, with 81 new direct-fit and universal units introduced this year.
More than half of the new CalCat converters feature timesaving direct-fit designs, which enable automotive service providers to complete the installations without specialized tools or custom fabrication.
“The Walker CalCat product line is becoming an increasingly important competitive tool for distributors and repair providers across North America, as more states are following CARB emissions requirements,” said Mark Boyle, director of marketing, North America Aftermarket, Tenneco. “Our ability to develop and aggressively expand this high-quality repair solution is due in large part to Tenneco’s leadership as a global supplier of OE emissions control products and systems.”
CalCat converters are covered by five-year/50,000-mile (80,000-kilometer) emissions and structural warranties.
