Plews & Edelmann adds EPS torque…

Plews & Edelmann adds EPS torque sensors

Plews & Edelmann has expanded its power steering hard parts offering with several exclusive components and the introduction of a new product line: Electric power steering (EPS) torque sensors. These latest additions offer solutions not currently available from any other provider.

The release of EPS torque sensors represents an important step in supporting sustainable and cost‑effective EPS repair. The new sensors complement Plews & Edelmann’s existing EPS belt replacement kits, giving technicians the ability to repair electric racks rather than replacing the entire assembly, a process that can be both costly and difficult due to limited availability.

Modern steering systems rely heavily on torque sensors, which are common failure points in electric rack and pinion units. By offering high‑quality replacement sensors, Plews & Edelmann provides technicians with targeted repair options that help restore steering performance without requiring full‑unit replacements.

“Our goal is to stay ahead of the market by identifying the gaps that leave technicians without options,” said Anthony Holguin, director of category management at Plews & Edelmann. “By adding torque sensors to our EPS lineup and releasing exclusive hard parts for traditional hydraulic systems, we are giving our professional technicians the ability to service vehicles that previously required a trip to the dealer.”
