Milwaukee Tool is setting up a new office north of Toronto.
The Town of Georgina announced that the company is the newest major tenant in the Keswick Business Park, with the company set to open a 54,000 square foot service hub that will expand its Canadian operations and add more than 60 jobs by the end of 2026.
Town officials said the company selected the site after a review that weighed connectivity to regional highways and airports, access to a large and skilled workforce, and room for long-term expansion. The Keswick Business Park is about a one-hour drive to the GTA’s urban core via Highway 404, 35 minutes to Highway 401 and 60 minutes to Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The location provides access to more than 4.5 million people within 60 kilometres, which the company described as one of Canada’s most skilled and educated workforces. The factors align with Milwaukee Tool’s service and operational growth strategy across the country.
“Canada is a key growth market for us and this investment represents our ongoing commitment to expanding our operational footprint and strengthening our service infrastructure nationwide,” said John Myers, president of Milwaukee Tool Canada. “Georgina offers the ideal combination of strategic location, skilled talent, and long-term growth potential. By establishing this new Service Hub here, we are doubling down on our investment in Canada and enhancing our ability to support users of our brands nationwide.”
The 200-acre business park offers capacity for buildings exceeding one million square feet, modern industrial infrastructure, and extensive trailer and employee parking. Milwaukee Tool’s Service Hub will consolidate multiple facilities into a purpose-built site designed to improve workflow, increase capacity and provide a more consistent service experience for users nationwide.
The company said the hub will enhance turnaround times, strengthen customer support and streamline service processes, while positioning Milwaukee Tool for long term growth with better parts management and improved logistics.
Milwaukee Tool also said it’s preparing to launch its first Canadian distribution centre in 2026. The separate facility is intended to improve shipment times by moving most inventory into local stock.
The Town says Milwaukee Tool will be supported through Georgina’s Business Concierge Program, which provides dedicated guidance to help companies meet development timelines and establish operations in the community.
