MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers announces…

MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers announces new president

Emily Poladian has been named president of MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers.

Her first day on the job will be Nov. 1 as she takes over from Paul McCarthy, who will move on to the role of president and CEO of MEMA, The Vehicle Suppliers Association as of the start of the new year. He will succeed the retiring Bill Long.

Poladian has spent 27 years in the supplier industry, most recently as the president of Bridgestone Mobility Solutions. She spearheaded strategic growth initiatives, digital transformation and partnership development. She held leadership roles across global markets, including Asia and North America, and led Firestone Industrial Products as president

“Emily knows this industry because she’s lived it,” McCarthy said in the announcement. “She’s an accomplished supplier executive with deep experience and an outstanding reputation built on results, relationships and respect. Emily leads with authenticity and collaboration — qualities that make her an excellent cultural fit for MEMA and a strong advocate for our members across the aftermarket.”

The group highlighted Poladian’s engagement with MEMA throughout her career, previously serving as a board member of MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers and as a former board member of the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA).
