KYB adds new sales, marketing managers

KYB Americas recently announced two new additions to its team.

Mike Deckys joined the central region sales team as a territory sales manager, and Whitney Howard is the new marketing manager.

Mike Deckys

Deckys has almost 25 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, with experience working for Dorman Products, Walker Products and Fisher Auto Parts. He has worked across all levels of distribution.

“I’m eager to reconnect with longtime partners, build new relationships and help drive the kind of shared success that strengthens KYB’s growth while elevating our customers’ performance throughout the region,” Deckys said in the announcement.

He will cover the northern part of KYB’s Central Region, which includes Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota and more.

“We’re lucky to have Mike,” said KYB central region manager Ron Fisher. “He brings a wealth of experience and is going to fit right in with the KYB Sales Team.”

Whitney Howard

Howard comes to KYB with an agency background. As marketing manager, she will develop and execute KYB’s media plan, promotions calendar and social media schedule, among many other duties.

“I’m eager to amplify our story, grow our brand presence, and help solidify KYB’s stature in the ride-control industry,” Howard said.

“Whitney is a great addition to our team,” says Andy Castleman, director of product and marketing. “She’s already brought us several fresh ideas and viewpoints from outside the automotive aftermarket. We threw her in the deep end right away and had her come to AAPEX after only being on the job for a week. She definitely impressed us with her initial observations and ability to learn quickly.”
