GripEdge expands socket extractor…

GripEdge expands socket extractor line

GripEdge has expanded its G-Fors master socket extractor range with the release of the MXC13S, a compact 13‑piece 1/2‑inch drive set designed to remove stubborn, seized, or rounded fasteners.

Built for professional technicians, the set combines versatility, strength, and the company’s patented non‑tapered, bi‑directional extractor geometry. This design provides full‑length grip from top to bottom, maximizing extraction power while also allowing damaged fasteners to be reinstalled when replacements are not immediately available.

Engineered for both hand and impact use, the MXC13S includes multiple drive options: an internal square drive compatible with ratchets, breaker bars, and impact wrenches, as well as an external hex drive for wrenches or pliers. Each socket is manufactured from high‑strength chrome molybdenum steel and finished with a premium corrosion‑resistant coating to ensure durability in harsh environments.

The set covers metric sizes from 19 to 25 millimetres and SAE sizes from 3/4 to 1 inch with no gaps. Large laser‑etched size markings provide quick and easy identification, while the durable custom‑moulded case with precision‑cut EVA foam keeps the sockets securely organized and accessible.
