EnerSys Expands Odyssey battery line

EnerSys has introduced the Odyssey Evolution ODV31 battery. The new model features AGM2 technology, combining the latest Absorbed Glass Mat design with proprietary Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology.

This combination delivers over 650 charge/recharge cycles at 80 percent depth of discharge, making it ideal for marine systems, medium- to heavy-duty trucks with hotel loads, electric auxiliary power units (EAPUs), and auxiliary equipment such as liftgate trailers and reefer units. It is also suited for first response vehicles and construction machinery.

The battery offers up to a 10-year service life and operates in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 80°C. It is compatible with the Odyssey Connect monitoring system, which tracks battery health and detects anomalies to help prevent premature failures.

With 700 Cold Cranking Amps and a Reserve Capacity of 220 minutes, the battery provides reliable performance for rugged environments. Backed by an industry-leading warranty, this new addition delivers durability and resilience for commercial and specialty vehicles.
