Eaton introduces new differentials for diesel trucks, Jeep models

Eaton has announced two new aftermarket differentials for popular diesel trucks and Jeep models, expanding its lineup of performance upgrades for off‑road enthusiasts and heavy‑duty truck owners. The launch coincides with the upcoming Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah.

The new Detroit Truetrac is a 31‑spline limited‑slip differential engineered for the General Motors 11.5‑inch rear axle used in 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD diesel trucks. Designed for owners who rely on their trucks for towing and demanding workloads, the Truetrac offers improved traction and stability under load.

Eaton has also introduced a 35‑spline electronic locking differential for 2018 and older Jeep Wrangler models equipped with Dana 44 axles, including JK, TJ, LJ, and CJ platforms. This ELocker upgrade provides enhanced axle strength and durability for challenging off‑road environments.

Eaton will further expand its performance lineup with the debut of its next‑generation Dana 60 ELocker at the 2026 SEMA Show, offering a stronger, ramp‑style differential designed for extreme torque and rugged terrain.

“Eaton’s aftermarket team continues to listen to feedback from our customers and build on our momentum of adding new performance upgrades for popular vehicles in North America,” said Steve Case, director of product management and digital transformation at Eaton’s Mobility Group.
