Coats upgrades Alignment Check and Bodyguard Module

Coats has upgraded its Alignment Check and Bodyguard Module, now available in Evo and Plus models. These all-in-one systems combine fast, touchless alignment measurements with high-resolution body condition imaging, helping shops and dealerships streamline vehicle intake, reduce liability and increase revenue.

The Evo model replaces the previous standalone Alignment Check system, offering a compact, cost-effective solution with integrated front body imaging. The Plus model builds on Evo’s capabilities by adding full 360-degree high-definition imaging for comprehensive vehicle coverage. Both models feature smart license plate recognition for automatic vehicle identification and cloud-based reporting for alignment, tread, and body data. Reports are accessible via a mobile app, enhancing transparency and customer trust.

These systems can be paired with the Coats Tread Depth Scanner to create a fully automated, drive-through digital vehicle inspection lane, enabling full scans in seconds without stopping the vehicle.

The Bodyguard module documents vehicle condition at check-in using time-stamped, VIN-associated images, protecting shops from fraudulent damage claims and improving accountability.
