Clarcor Engine Mobile Group (CEMG) has announced the opening of a new technical center in East Hartford, Connecticut. “Equipped with the latest filtration development and testing capabilities, this center will be instrumental in driving growth of the Engine Mobile Group in the first fit and aftermarket segments through innovative filtration solutions that drive superior value for our customers,” said Jacob Thomas, president of Clarcor Engine Mobile Group. In addition to East Hartford, CEMG has technical centers in Kearney, Nebraska; Weifang, China; and Pune, India; which are complemented by the Clarcor Innovation Center in Columbia, Tennessee. “Proximity to several outstanding universities in this area brings us access to highly-skilled technical and commercial talent,” said Thomas.
Clarcor Engine Mobile Group was formed in 2014 when Clarcor purchased the filtration division of Stanadyne Corporation. The former Stanadyne filtration business was combined with Clarcor’s existing Baldwin Filters and Clark Filters businesses to form CEMG. The opening of the new facility is part of the completion of a Transition Services Agreement relocating CEMG employees from the Stanadyne campus.
