Thermal Research and Development (Thermal R&D) has launched a new catback exhaust system for the 2019–2024 RAM 1500 equipped with the 5.7L HEMI engine. The release includes two configurations: a standard three-inch system and a more aggressive “Savage Edition,” which features a shorter muffler designed to produce a deeper and louder exhaust note.
Constructed from corrosion-resistant T304 stainless steel, the system is engineered for durability and ease of installation. It utilizes mandrel-bent tubing for optimal exhaust flow and includes all necessary hardware for a bolt-on fit using OEM hangers. The system is compatible with Quad Cab models with a 6.4-foot bed and Crew Cab models with 5.7-foot and 6.4-foot beds.
The standard version offers a refined, deep tone, while the “Savage Edition” delivers increased volume and a more assertive sound profile for enthusiasts seeking a bolder exhaust experience.
“Truck owners have always looked to Thermal R&D for a unique sound, better performance, and a perfect fit. With our new RAM 1500 system, we’re delivering all three,” said Matt Wilkerson, President of Thermal R&D. “This system’s a perfect match for the power and personality of the 5.7L HEMI and gives RAM fans an opportunity to be bold with the ‘Savage Edition’ for an extra aggressive sound.”
