BendPak intros lift for low-ceiling shops

BendPak has introduced the 12APF open‑top two‑post lift, designed to address the height limitations of traditional overhead‑bar lifts when servicing tall commercial vans and work trucks. By eliminating the overhead bar, the 12APF provides unencumbered lifting for vehicles equipped with ladder racks, cranes, and other roof‑mounted equipment, making it well suited for shops with low ceiling clearance.

The 12APF features shortened columns for easier installation while still delivering more than six feet of working height beneath the vehicle. A steel floorplate protects hydraulic and equalizer lines and allows smooth movement of jacks and shop equipment. Rated for vehicles up to 12,000 pounds, the lift accommodates cars, SUVs, trucks, and vans.

The lift includes BendPak’s bi‑metric arm design, allowing technicians to lift vehicles symmetrically or asymmetrically without changing arms. Triple‑telescoping arms extend up to 60 inches and retract to 26 inches, reaching a wide range of OEM lifting points. Standard accessories include frame cradle pads and multiple adapters. For added safety, the 12APF is equipped with an advanced lock system and automatic swing arm restraints that secure the arms firmly during service.

“Low ceilings don’t have to limit the work a shop can perform,” said Sean Price, director of product development and quality at BendPak. “We engineered the 12APF to provide power, flexibility, and reliability for servicing a wide range of vehicles in shops of all sizes.”
