Automakers’ new path in EV Wor…

Automakers’ new path in EV World

As preferences and trends change around electric vehicles, the latest issue of EV World speaks to some of the biggest automakers to find out how they’re navigating the path forward.

At the Canadian International AutoShow, EV World got to speak with four automaker executives — Ford, Volvo, Stellantis and Kia — about their views on the market and how they’re adjusting to consumer demands as incentives fall and preferences adapt.

And with those incentives gone and tariffs in place, columnist David Mayers looks at what that means for the market and its momentum. With new vehicle prices expected to rise, along with parts, EV owners may hang on to their vehicles longer as well — Mayers looks at how that could impact the industry.

Long time aftermarket leader Derek Suen explores the hypocrisy of the climate crusade for electric vehicles, noting that there are too many buzzwords and too few paths for success. He notes how the market has changed, why blocking Chinese options doesn’t help, what the impacts are for the aftermarket and more.

Check out all that and more in the Spring issue of EV World.
