Plews & Edelmann has introduced Edelmann Elite return hoses, a new category of high‑performance components for the hydraulic power steering aftermarket.
The new return hoses are available as fully assembled, ready‑to‑install line assemblies with correct routing and fittings, eliminating the need for cutting or fabrication. Bulk coil options are also offered in multiple diameters to support a range of service needs. Each assembly features original‑style fittings, zinc‑coated tubing for corrosion protection, and reinforced connections for secure installation. An upgraded rubber formulation reduces oil‑related swelling and resists heat and ozone exposure, helping extend service life.
“For over six years, Edelmann Elite meant high performance pressure hoses,” said Anthony Holguin, director of category management at Plews & Edelmann. “Bringing Elite to the return side is a brand‑new category for our line and for the market.”
By addressing the return side of the system, the new line supports more complete repairs and helps reduce the risk of contamination‑related failures, including premature pump damage. This addition expands service opportunities and aligns with broader efforts to improve long‑term reliability in power steering repairs.
“There has never been a high-performance return hose; until now, the return side was an afterthought,” added Tony Edwards, vice‑president of sales at Plews & Edelmann.
