
NTN Bearing Corporation of Canada has officially reopened its western regional office and distribution centre in Edmonton.
The 12,500-square-foot facility, located at 1005 Eby Road SW, is designed to optimize supply chain operations, improve customer service and provide capacity for continued growth. It features advanced warehouse automation for sorting, picking and packing, real-time inventory management and a strategic layout to support same-day and next-day shipping.
“This milestone represents a significant investment in our supply chain operations and reinforces our commitment to serving customers,” said Paul Meo, president and CEO of NTN Bearing Corporation of Canada. “With advanced technologies, streamlined logistics and a strategic layout, our new western regional office marks a significant expansion of NTN’s Canadian presence and demonstrates its commitment to enhancing our service in Western Canada.”
The site includes product staging areas, loading bays and the ability to handle overseas containers, reducing lead times and freight costs. It also offers conference rooms for technical training and customer support.
The grand opening event drew guests, including MLA Brandon Lunty, Edmonton Mayor Amarjeet Sohi and Councillor Keren Tang. The celebration featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, facility tours and a western-themed BBQ dinner. Attendees also learned about NTN’s bearing services and programs designed to help customers maximize performance.
