Milwaukee Tool has introduced locking extensions as part of its mechanics hand tools lineup. These extensions feature a large knurled surface for improved grip and control, a secure detent hole for strong ratchet head retention, and a locking collar to help prevent socket loss. Each extension is chrome-plated for corrosion resistance and marked for easy size identification.
The lineup includes three-piece locking extension sets in quarter-inch, three-eighths-inch, and half-inch drive sizes. Individual locking extensions are also available in multiple lengths: quarter-inch drive in three-inch, six-inch, and 10-inch; three-eighths inch drive in three-inch, six-inch, and 10-inch; and half-inch drive in three-inch, five-inch, and 10-inch options.
