Milwaukee adds new subcompact impact wrench

Milwaukee Tool has expanded its cordless impact wrench lineup with the introduction of the M12 Fuel Subcompact Impact Wrenches and the M12 Fuel Subcompact Impact Wrench Protective Boot. Designed for aftermarket mechanics and auto body professionals, these tools bridge the gap between ratchets and standard impact wrenches, offering access for light-duty tasks like bumpers, fenders, engine work and suspension.

Available in 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch sizes with friction rings, these are the most compact impact wrenches on the market — 2.2 inches shorter than competitors — delivering up to 100 ft-lbs and 225 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque, respectively. Weighing just 1.5–1.6 lbs, they reduce user fatigue and fit into tight spaces without the need for extensions or adapters.

The form-fitting Protective Boot shields both tool and work surface from damage and corrosive materials, without adding bulk.
