Grease guns

Gates Canada, distributor of Plews & Edelmann products in Canada, has announced a new line of clear tube grease guns. These UltraView clear grease guns allow the technician to see what kind of grease is being dispensed before it leaves the gun. The UltraView clear grease gun was designed to prevent the problem of cross-contamination – the cause of 60-80% of bearing failures.

“When the wrong product is used to lubricate machinery, it can get expensive, as damaged machinery may need to be replaced,” a release from Gates states. “Now you can eliminate the possibility of using the wrong grease with an innovative grease gun with a shatterproof, high-tech polycarbonate, see-through barrel.”

The company says shops can also save on product purchasing costs, since there’s no longer a need for a separate grease gun for every oil or grease product. Just get the clear canisters and you’re ready to go!
