Former Johnson Controls executive Mike Carr has been named CEO of Cardone Industries, effective immediately.

Carr, a seasoned executive in the automotive aftermarket, brings a wealth of global experience from his 23 years at Johnson Controls in several senior leadership positions and almost four years at Axalta Coating Systems as president for North America, and then president of the Americas.

His experience spans many strategic areas including finance, customer relationships, operations, business growth and employee engagement. He holds a BS in Marketing Management from St. Joseph’s University and an MBA from Drexel University. A true aftermarket professional, Carr currently serves on the Board of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association.

“I am excited to take on this new opportunity and help pave the way for Cardone’s successful growth. Cardone is a great company with a rich history and promising future, and I look forward to working with the dedicated people here to take the company to the next level,” said Carr.
